3D microscopy in industrial measurements
Journal of Microscopy, 2022AbstractQuality control is essential to ensure the performance and yield of microdevices in industrial processing and manufacturing. In particular, 3D microscopy can be considered as a separate branch of microscopic instruments and plays a pivotal role in monitoring processing quality.

Wearable 3D measurement realizes to acquire 3D information of an objects or an environment using a wearable computer. Recently, we can send voice and sound as well as pictures by mobile phone in Japan. Moreover it will become easy to capture and send data of short movie by it. On the other hand, the computers become compact and high performance. And it

3D Scanning uses several non-contact measurement technologies to create a “spatial point cloud” that represents a virtual 3D surface. Once created this point cloud can then be analyzed in several ways to create everything from a Virtual Reality tour of a Cummins plant to reverse engineering apart from an early Cummins engine.

Robotic flexible 3D measurement
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2003Abstract Robotic systems collecting 3D coordinates of a given region of a surface automatically and in a systematic pattern at high rates and achieving these results in near real time are considered as 3D scanning instruments in this article. In model the relationship between 3-dimensional position and orientation of the object and the robot position

Antera 3D capabilities for pore measurements
Skin Research and Technology, 2018AbstractBackgroundThe cause of enlarged pores remains obscure but still remains of concern for women. To complement subjective methods, bioengineered methods are needed for quantification of pores visibility following treatments. The study objective was to demonstrate the suitability of pore measurements from the Antera 3D.Material and methodsPore ...

Three-dimensional (3D) images consisting of arrays of voxels can now be routinely obtained from several different types of microscopes. These include both the transmission and emission modes of the confocal scanning laser microscope (but not its most common reflection mode), the secondary ion mass spectrometer, and computed tomography using electrons ...

Optoelektronisches 3D-Positionsmesssystem (Optical 3D-Position Measuring System)

In this chapter, three-dimensional deformations inside a transparent synthetic soil model were measured non-intrusively by cross-correlating the speckle images. The speckles were generated by interaction between laser light and transparent synthetic soils. A soil profile consisting of “sand” overlying soft “clay” was simulated.

3D Beam Forming Measurements Using 3D-Microphone Arrays
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2009<div class="htmlview paragraph">Traditional acoustic measurements inside any cavity have historically been conducted with a small number of microphones. By this means it is possible to gain information about parameters like frequencies, orders and sound pressures.
