This study introduces an extracorporeal hemoperfusion system incorporating porous microbeads embedded with autocatalytic ceria nanoparticles (CeNPs) for targeted reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging in septic shock. The blood‐compatible hemoperfusion cartridge demonstrated significant improvements in survival, hemodynamic stability, and organ ...

Fabrication of Poly (ε-Caprolactone) 3D scaffolds with controllable porosity using ultrasound [PDF]
3D printing has progressed significantly, allowing objects to be produced using a wide variety of materials. Recent advances have employed focused ultrasound in 3D printing, to allow printing inside acoustically transparent materials. Here we introduce a Selective Ultrasonic Melting (SUM) method for 3D printing of poly ({\epsilon}-caprolactone) (PCL ...

The ultraselective H2S detection of the ZIF‐L/SnS2 heterostructure is demonstrated. The introduction of 2‐dimensional (2D) breathable ZIF‐L results in a substantial increase in H2S selectivity attributable to the molecular sieving effect, which impedes the permeation of gases with large kinetic diameters and high polarity.

Robot Tape Manipulation for 3D Printing [PDF]
3D printing has enabled various applications using different forms of materials, such as filaments, sheets, and inks. Typically, during 3D printing, feedstocks are transformed into discrete building blocks and placed or deposited in a designated location similar to the manipulation and assembly of discrete objects.

Building Bytes, by Brian Peters, is a project that uses desktop 3D printers to print bricks for architecture. Instead of using an expensive custom-made printer, it uses a normal standard 3D printer which is available for everyone and makes it more accessible and also easier for fabrication.
