Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Heterotropic regulation and negative homotropic cooperativity
We identified a structural module common to some proteins that couple negative cooperativity with heterotropic regulation, two features that rarely coexist. These proteins are ring‐like and present an ordered asymmetry whereby noncontacting subunits are symmetric, and their tertiary structure differs from that of contacting subunits.

PROSTHETIST KNOWLEDGE AND 3D PRINTING
In this paper we briefly explored the history of 3D printing in prosthetics. We provided details of our own work developing 3D printing design tools from 2014-2020 noting how claims around prosthetist experience and knowledge have been supported and/or questioned in the development of new device production techniques.

Volumetric 3D Printing: A New Approach to 3D Printing
Today, there are many different methods of 3D printing, each with its advantages and disadvantages. One such method is the volumetric 3D printing method. Volumetric 3D printing or tomographic 3D printing is a resin-based printing process. In this article, we will explore the uses, disadvantages, and references of volumetric 3D printing.

The presence of biotin‐binding avidin proteins in fish and their biological significance are poorly characterized. We cataloged fish avidins and demonstrate that they are widely present and evolutionarily conserved. We created avd knockout zebrafish and show that zebavidin is dispensable for development and that resistance of avd knockout embryos in ...

GelMA‐based 3D spheroids recapitulate transcriptomic and functional hallmarks of myeloid sarcoma
GelMA 5% hydrogels support the formation of myeloid leukemia spheroids that recapitulate MS‐specific features, including G1 arrest, apoptosis, and ECM‐driven transcriptomic reprogramming. The 3D model mimicked soft‐tissue‐like stiffness and oxygen conditions, and transcriptomic convergence with primary MS samples confirmed its utility as a preclinical ...

A scientific network serving the uses of 3D humanities
" The 3D Consortium of the TGIR Huma-Num has been created based on the observation that there are many initiatives around 3D for the Digital Humanities without real coordination between them.
