3D Printed Electrochemical Sensors

Annual Review of Analytical Chemistry, 2021
Three-dimensional (3D) printing has recently emerged as a novel approach in the development of electrochemical sensors. This approach to fabrication has provided a tremendous opportunity to make complex geometries of electrodes at high precision. The most widely used approach for fabrication is fused deposition modeling; however, other approaches ...

3D printed capacitive sensors

2013 IEEE SENSORS, 2013
Recent advances in the field of 3D printing have utilized embedded electronic interconnects in order to construct advanced electronic devices. This work builds on these advances in order to construct and characterize arbitrarily formed capacitive sensors using fine-pitch copper mesh and embedded copper wires.

3D Inclinometer and MEMS Acceleration Sensors

2006 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2006
Currently different systems are used to estimate simultaneously linear and angular positions of a mobile frame. This paper presents a novel approach to deduce simultaneously the aforementioned functionalities with only one sensor module. The use of only four MEMS accelerometers represents the main advantage of the proposed system.

3D Magnetic Imaging With GMR Sensors

IEEE Sensors Journal, 2019
This paper reports on the development of spin electronics based probes for 3D magnetic imaging. We have demonstrated the feasibility of using four orientations of magnetoresistive sensors (GMR) for the reconstruction of three dimensional components of magnetic field at the same measurement point.
