This study focuses on the electrodeposition of 2-nitrophenol, 3-nitrophenol, and 4-nitrophenol in either acidic, alkaline or neutral aqueous solutions. All the isomers have been electropolymerized using cyclic voltammetry (CV).

4-Dimethylaminopyridinium–4-nitrophenolate–4-nitrophenol (1/1/1)
Within and between molecules of the title compound, C7H11N2+·C6H5NO3−·C6H4NO3, there are C—H⋯O, C—H⋯N, O—H⋯O and N—H⋯O interactions, which generate rings of graph-set motifs S(5), R12(5), R12(6), R12(7) and R21(4). The supramolecular aggregation is completed by the presence of three different π–π interactions and short van der Waals contacts.

THz emission from organic cocrystalline salt: 2, 6-diaminopyridinium-4-nitrophenolate-4-nitrophenol
We report few-cycle THz pulses emission from a novel organic crystal 2,6-diaminopyridinium-4-nitrophenolate-4-nitrophenol (DAP+NP-NP). The observed amplitude of the THz electric field from a DAP+NP-NP crystal is comparable with that from a ZnTe single crystal under the same optical pumping conditions.

Highly Effective Detection of 4-Nitrophenol by Tremella-like Indium Silver Sulfide Modified GCE
A highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for 4-nitrophenol was established based on a tremella-like indium silver sulfide modified glassy carbon electrode (TLISS/GCE). Indium silver sulfide was facilely synthesized by co-precipitation.
