On an application of almost increasing sequences [PDF]
Using an almost increasing sequence, a result of Mazhar (1977) on |C,1|k summability factors has been generalized for |C,α;β|k and |N¯,pn;β|k summability factors under weaker ...

Some Tauberian theorems for Euler and Borel summability [PDF]
The well-known summability methods of Euler and Borel are studied as mappings from ℓ1 into ℓ1. In this ℓ−ℓ setting, the following Tauberian results are proved: if x is a sequence that is mapped into ℓ1 by the Euler-Knopp method Er with r>0 (or the Borel ...

An ordered set of Nörlund means [PDF]
Nörlund methods of summability are studied as mappings from ℓ1 into ℓ1. Those Nörlund methods that map ℓ1 into ℓ1 are characterized.

A summability factor theorem for absolute summability involving almost increasing sequences
We obtain sufficient conditions for the series ∑anλn to be absolutely summable of order k by a triangular matrix.

Approximation of functions and their conjugates in Lp and uniform metric by Euler means
For 2π-periodic functions from Lp (where 1 < p < ∞) we prove an estimate of approximation by Euler means in Lp metric generalizing a result of L. Rempuska and K. Tomczak. Furthermore, we show that this estimate is sharp in a certain sense.

On the order of summability of the Fourier inversion formula [PDF]
In this article we show that the order of the point value, in the sense of Łojasiewicz, of a tempered distribution and the order of summability of the pointwise Fourier inversion formula are closely related.

After a brief summary of Tauberian conditions for ordinary sequences of numbers, we consider summability of double sequences of real or complex numbers by weighted mean methods which are not necessarily products of related weighted mean methods in one variable.

On Tauber's second Tauberian theorem [PDF]
We study Tauberian conditions for the existence of Cesàro limits in terms of the Laplace transform. We also analyze Tauberian theorems for the existence of distributional point values in terms of analytic representations.

Integrability and L1‐convergence of Rees‐Stanojević sums with generalized semiconvex coefficients
Integrability and L1‐convergence of modified cosine sums introduced by Rees and Stanojević (1973) under a class of generalized semiconvex null coefficients are studied, using Cesaro means of integral order.
