A genome guardian role for RAG-mediated restriction of repair pathway choice (42.10)

The Journal of Immunology, 2012
Abstract The V(D)J recombinase, which includes the RAG 1/2 proteins, retains broken DNA intermediates in a post-cleavage complex, restricting repair to the canonical nonhomologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway. Previously, we described a C-terminal RAG2 truncation mutant that ablates repair pathway restriction, allowing RAG-generated DNA ...

Increased resistance against MRSA-infection in immunocompromized hosts by injection of IL-12 producing cells. (42.10)

The Journal of Immunology, 2010
Abstract Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) induces lethal infections at Health-care associated infection in immunocompromized hosts. Since MRSA shows multiple drug resistande, treatments by chemotherapeutic agents are hard to recover from illness.

Ten color flow cytometry reveals CD126 as a marker for mature SP4 and SP8 thymocytes (42.10)

The Journal of Immunology, 2009
Abstract We have developed a 10 color flow cytometric staining protocol for the simultaneous detection and characterization of 21 thymocyte subpopulations. These subpopulations include 17 previously described subsets and 4 new subsets.

Activation of NKT cells by a-Galactosylceramide treatment licenses lamina propria dendritic cells to abrogate the oral tolerance (42.10)

The Journal of Immunology, 2007
Abstract Dendritic cells (DC) play critical roles in Ag presentation and induction of immunity or tolerance. In previous our study, treatment of agonistic anti-CD40 mAb at that time of oral OVA did not abolish the oral tolerance induction whereas injection of α-galactosylceramide (αGC) blocked the oral tolerance.

The Structure of Isaiah 42.10-17 as Approached Through Versification and Distribution of Poetic Devices

Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, 1991
The curious poem in Isa. 42.10-17 is not easily reduced to any of the Gattungen of classical Hebrew poetry. A fresh analysis of its structure is attempted here, based on a colometric arrangement of the text and a charting of its poetic and 'rhetorical' features adapted from M. O'Connor's system. Long-range repetitions and correlationns are not ignored,
