Numerical solution of singular boundary value problems using Green’s function and Sinc-Collocation method

open access: yesJournal of King Saud University: Science, 2020
This study is the construction of the Green’s function and Sinc function for a class of nonhomogeneous singular boundary value problems (SBVPs). The equivalent Volterra-Fredholm integral equations can be derived from SBVPs by applying Green’s function ...

Erd\'elyi-Kober Fractional Diffusion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The aim of this Short Note is to highlight that the {\it generalized grey Brownian motion} (ggBm) is an anomalous diffusion process driven by a fractional integral equation in the sense of Erd\'elyi-Kober, and for this reason here it is proposed to call ...

Strong solutions to stochastic Volterra equations

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper stochastic Volterra equations admitting exponentially bounded resolvents are studied. After obtaining convergence of resolvents, some properties for stochastic convolutions are studied.

On the properties of the solution set map to Volterra integral inclusion

open access: yes, 2017
For the multivalued Volterra integral equation defined in a Banach space, the set of solutions is proved to be $R_\delta$, without auxiliary conditions imposed in Theorem 6 [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 403 (2013), 643-666]. It is shown that the solution set map,

The Hyers-Ulam stability for nonlinear Volterra integral equations via a generalized Diaz-Margolis's fixed point theorem [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
In this work, we prove an existence theorem of the Hyers-Ulam stability for the nonlinear Volterra integral equations which improves and generalizes Castro-Ramos theorem by using some weak conditions.

Global existence of solutions to nonlinear Volterra integral equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
A new method is given for proving the global existence of the solution to nonlinear Volterra integral equations. A bound on the solution is derived. The results are based on a nonlinear inequality proved by the author earlier.

Space dependent adhesion forces mediated by transient elastic linkages : new convergence and global existence results

open access: yes, 2018
In the first part of this work we show the convergence with respect to an asymptotic parameter {\epsilon} of a delayed heat equation. It represents a mathematical extension of works considered previously by the authors [Milisic et al. 2011, Milisic et al.

Function-valued stochastic convolutions arising in integrodifferential equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2004
We study stochastic convolutions providing by fundamental solutions of a class of integrodifferential equations which interpolate the heat and the wave equations. We give sufficient condition for the existence of function--valued convolutions in terms of the covariance kernel of a noise given by spatially homogeneous Wiener process.

A hybrid Volterra-type equation with two types of impulses [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2005
We formulate and analyze a hybrid system model that involves Volterra integral operators with multiple integrals and two types of impulsive terms. We give a constructive proof, via an iteration method, of existence and uniqueness of solutions.

Optimal control of Goursat-Volterra systems [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
We analyze an optimal control problem for systems of integral equations of Volterra type with two independent variables. These systems generalize both, the hyperbolic control problems for systems of Goursat-Darboux type, and the optimal control of ordinary (i.e. with one independent variable) Volterra integral equations.
