The Defect Sequence for Contractive Tuples
We introduce the defect sequence for a contractive tuple of Hilbert space operators and investigate its properties. The defect sequence is a sequence of numbers, called defect dimensions associated with a contractive tuple.

Boundary behavior of functions in the de Branges--Rovnyak spaces
This paper deals with the boundary behavior of functions in the de Branges--Rovnyak spaces. First, we give a criterion for the existence of radial limits for the derivatives of functions in the de Branges--Rovnyak spaces.

Structure of weighted Hardy spaces in the plane
We characterize certain weighted Hardy spaces on the unit disk and completely describe their dual spaces.Comment: Submitted on 7 Nov 2013 accepted in ...

Summability properties of Gabor expansions
We show that there exist complete and minimal systems of time-frequency shifts of Gaussians in $L^2(\mathbb{R})$ which are not strong Markushevich basis (do not admit the spectral synthesis).

Approximation numbers of composition operators on the Hardy space of the ball and of the polydisk [PDF]
We give general estimates for the approximation numbers of composition operators on the Hardy space on the ball $B\_d$ and the polydisk $D^d$

Division subspaces and integrable kernels
In this note we prove that the reproducing kernel of a Hilbert space satisfying the division property has integrable form, is locally of trace class, and the Hilbert space itself is a Hilbert space of holomorphic functions.Comment: 11 ...

Recent kernel methods for interacting particle systems: first numerical results
Interacting particle systems (IPSs) are a very important class of dynamical systems, arising in different domains like biology, physics, sociology and engineering. In many applications, these systems can be very large, making their simulation and control,

Toeplitz operators on Bergman spaces of polyanalytic functions
We study algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators on Bergman spaces of polyanalytic functions on the unit disk. We obtain results on finite-rank commutators and semi-commutators of Toeplitz operators with harmonic symbols.

Applications of M.G. Krein's Theory of Regular Symmetric Operators to Sampling Theory
The classical Kramer sampling theorem establishes general conditions that allow the reconstruction of functions by mean of orthogonal sampling formulae. One major task in sampling theory is to find concrete, non trivial realizations of this theorem.
