Workflow for Design of Experiments‐Based Modeling of Species Transport and Growth Kinetics in GaN Hydride Vapor Phase Epitaxy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Interaction of extreme temperature events and fine particulate matter components on pregnancy outcomes in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology: A longitudinal study in Eastern China

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety
Accumulating evidence linked extreme temperature events (ETEs) and air pollutants to adverse pregnancy outcomes. However, it is still unclear how ETEs and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) components interact to affect pregnancy outcomes, especially in ...

An Explicit Constitutive Reconstruction Framework for Mechanical Characterization of Miniaturized 3D‐Printed Specimens

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An explicit constitutive reconstruction framework enables accurate tensile characterization of miniaturized additively manufactured specimens using only the grip‐to‐grip displacement measurements. Progressive validation through self‐consistency, analytical comparison, and inverse finite element method (iFEM) benchmarking demonstrates constitutive ...

FastNano Liquid: An Automated Platform for Small‐Angle X‐ray Scattering‐Based Materials Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We present FastNano Liquid, an automated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering platform for the combined synthesis and characterization of (nano)materials. The platform is coupled to varied reactor workflows for both in situ studies of reaction kinetics and ex situ screening of synthesis conditions to support machine learning‐guided exploration ...
