New Urea and Thiourea Derivatives of Piperazine Doped with Febuxostat: Synthesis and Evaluation of Anti-TMV and Antimicrobial Activities

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2013
A series of new 4-(5-(3-cyano-4-isobutoxyphenyl)-4-methylthiazole-2-carbonyl)-N-(substituted phenyl)piperazine-1-carboxamides 8(a–e)/carbothioamides 8(f–j) were accomplished for biological interest by the simple addition of active functionalized ...

A study of the N to Delta transition form factors in full QCD

open access: yes, 2005
The N to Delta transition form factors GM1, GE2 and GC2 are evaluated using dynamical MILC configurations and valence domain wall fermions at three values of quark mass corresponding to pion mass 606 MeV, 502 MeV and 364 MeV on lattices of spatial size ...

Collisionless hydrodynamics for 1D motion of inhomogeneous degenerate electron gases: equivalence of two recent descriptions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Recently I. Tokatly and O. Pankratov (''TP'', Phys. Rev. B 60, 15550 (1999)) used velocity moments of a semiclassical kinetic equation to derive a hydrodynamic description of electron motion in a degenerate electron gas.

Mapping Nanoscale Protein‐Corona Kinetics of DoE‐Optimized Perfluorocarbon Encapsulated‐PLGA Nanoparticles by In Situ, Time‐Resolved Synchrotron SAXS

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

Low‐Dimensional MOF Nanoarchitectonics: Progress in MOF‐2D Material Hybrid Architectures for Energy Conversion and Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the integration of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and two‐dimensional (2D) materials through dimensional interface engineering. By addressing intrinsic limitations like poor conductivity and agglomeration, these hybrid architectures optimize interfacial charge and mass transport.

Estimation of temperature and humidity from MST radar observations [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 2001
Retrieval of vertical profiles of temperature and humidity parameters using a VHF radar is described in this paper. For this, Indian MST radar located at Gadanki (13.5° N, 79.2° E) has been operated in a special mode. First, vertical velocities are

The Multi-Biomarker Approach for Heart Failure in Patients with Hypertension [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We assessed the predictive ability of selected biomarkers using N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) as the benchmark and tried to establish a multi-biomarker approach to heart failure (HF) in hypertensive patients. In 120 hypertensive
