A Three‐Dimensional Fatigue Reliability Model Under Random Loadings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Random loadings (RL) are prevalent in mechanical systems, yet their inherent stochasticity poses significant challenges to structural fatigue reliability assessment. In this study, a three‐dimensional fatigue reliability model is developed under RL through amplitude modulating and Fourier transformation. The non‐Gaussian RL characteristics are

Structural and Optical Modifications of Indium‐Doped Copper Oxide (CuO) Thin Films Synthesized by Chemical Bath Deposition for Enhanced Photoluminescence

open access: yesNano Select, EarlyView.
Indium (In)‐doped copper oxide (CuO) thin films are synthesized using a one‐step chemical bath deposition (CBD) method followed by annealing at 300°C. In‐doping can significantly tailor the structural, optical, and morphological properties of CuO thin films, making them promising candidates for applications in photoluminescence.

Enhancing Lipidomics With High‐Resolution Ion Mobility‐Mass Spectrometry

open access: yesPROTEOMICS, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lipids, indispensable yet structurally intricate biomolecules, serve as critical regulators of cellular function and disease progression. Conventional lipidomics, constrained by limited resolution for isomeric and low‐abundance species, has been transformed by ion mobility‐mass spectrometry (IM‐MS).

Digital Twin Simulations Toolbox of the Nitrogen‐Vacancy Center in Diamond

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, EarlyView.
The Nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) center in diamond is a key platform within quantum technologies. This work introduces a Python based digital‐twin of the NV, where the spin dynamics of the system is simulated without relying on commonly used approximations, such as the adoption of rotating frame. The digital‐twin is validated through three different examples,

Color Energy Of A Unitary Cayley Graph

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2014
Let G be a vertex colored graph. The minimum number χ(G) of colors needed for coloring of a graph G is called the chromatic number. Recently, Adiga et al.

Sonified Signals From a Compact FT‐ICR Instrument: A Feasibility Study. I—Data Mapping to an Equal‐Tempered Chromatic Scale

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Rationale Ions trapped within a Penning cell (ICR) travel periodic orbits whose frequencies are dependent on their mass‐to‐charge ratio and the value of the magnetic field passing through the trap. Fourier transformation (FT‐ICR) decomposes the signal induced in the detection circuit by the rotation of the ions in the cell after the ...

Safety Considerations in Deployment of Robotic Systems – A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT An in‐depth understanding of the risks related to robotic systems is crucial to guarantee safety throughout all stages of robot design and operations. This required a thorough risk assessment following international standards. This study presents a systematic review of previous research on safety considerations in the design of robotic systems,
