Analysis of SHA-512/224 and SHA-512/256

Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2015
In 2012, NIST standardized SHA-512/224 and SHA-512/256, two truncated variants of SHA-512, in FIPS 180-4. These two hash functions are faster than SHA-224 and SHA-256 on 64-bit platforms, while maintaining the same hash size and claimed security level. So far, no third-party analysis of SHA-512/224 or SHA-512/256 has been published.

SHA-512/256

2011 Eighth International Conference on Information Technology: New Generations, 2011
With the emergence of pervasive 64 bit computing we observe that it is more cost effective to compute a SHA-512 than it is to compute a SHA-256 over a given size of data. We propose a standard way to use SHA-512 and truncate its output to 256 bits. For 64 bit architectures, this would yield a more efficient 256 bit hashing algorithm, than the current ...

512×512 Infrared cryogenic scene projector arrays

Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 1995
Abstract A mosaic array of resistively heated microbridges offers much flexibility for infrared scene simulations. Dynamic scene simulations are important for the testing of the real-time performance capability of IR camera and seeker systems. The excellent thermal properties of the emitter pixels achieved with thin films and unique thermal isolation

The Groups of Order 512

1999
Recent progress in computational representation theory is surveyed. As an application of some methods for constructing ordinary character tables Brauer pairs among 2-groups of order up to 28 are determined. Furthermore the present status of the library of the tables of marks for simple groups which is available in GAPis described.

A LOW POWER CRYOGENIC CMOS ROIC DESIGN FOR 512 × 512 IRFPA

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2013
A low power readout integrated circuit (ROIC) for 512 × 512 cooled infrared focal plane array (IRFPA) is presented. A capacitive trans-impedance amplifier (CTIA) with high gain cascode amplifier and inherent correlated double sampling (CDS) configuration is employed to achieve a high performance readout interface for the IRFPA with a pixel size of 30 ×
