This study presents a novel implantable drug delivery systemwith a biodegradable poly(caprolactone) membrane and compressed drug core forsustained release. These implantable devices deliver risperidone in vitro for 170 days and in vivo for 49 days in rats, showing promise for chronic conditions like schizophrenia.

Short-term investment and equilibrium multiplicity [PDF]
I study the effects of the heterogeneity of traders' horizon in the context of a 2-period NREE model where all traders are risk averse. Owing to inventory effects, myopic trading behavior generates multiplicity of equilibria.

We characterized the distribution of cargo proteins associated with extracellular vesicles using various exogenous loading methods. In all cases, single‐particle analysis revealed that the distribution of protein content per EV is heterogeneous, following an exponential decay function.

This study reveals how vorticity—a swirling flow pattern—enhances platelet aggregation and thrombus formation in high‐shear conditions. Using a custom microfluidic model, it is shows that vorticity promotes vWF–GPIbα interactions and calcium signaling, providing new insights into thrombosis mechanobiology and informing safer blood‐contacting medical ...
