Real hypersurfaces of type A in quarternionic projective space

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 20, Issue 1, Page 115-122, 1997., 1995
In this paper, under certain conditions on the orthogonal distribution 𝒟, we give a characterization of real hypersurfaces of type A in quaternionic projective space QPm.

η-Ricci Solitons on Sasakian 3-Manifolds

open access: yesAnnals of the West University of Timisoara: Mathematics and Computer Science, 2017
In this paper we study η-Ricci solitons on Sasakian 3-manifolds. Among others we prove that an η-Ricci soliton on a Sasakian 3-manifold is an η-Einstien manifold.

Locally conformally balanced metrics on almost abelian Lie algebras

open access: yesComplex Manifolds, 2021
We study locally conformally balanced metrics on almost abelian Lie algebras, namely solvable Lie algebras admitting an abelian ideal of codimension one, providing characterizations in every dimension. Moreover, we classify six-dimensional almost abelian

On a structure satisfying FK − (−)K+1F = 0

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 19, Issue 1, Page 125-130, 1996., 1994
In this paper we shall obtain certain results on the structure defined by F(K, −(−)K+1) and satisfying FK − (−)K+1F = 0, where F is a non null tensor field of the type (1, 1) Such a structure on an n‐dimensional differentiable manifold Mn has been called F(K, −(−)K+1) structure of rank “r”, where the rank of F is constant on Mn and is equal to “r” In ...

Strongly pseudo-convex CR space forms

open access: yesComplex Manifolds, 2019
For a contact manifold, we study a strongly pseudo-convex CR space form with constant holomorphic sectional curvature for the Tanaka-Webster connection.

On non‐parallel s‐structures

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 19, Issue 2, Page 263-266, 1996., 1996
Using algebraic topology, we find out the number of all non‐parallel s‐structures which an n‐dimensional Euclidean space En admits. The obtaining results are generalized on a manifold M which is CW‐complex.

On a class of exact locally conformal cosymlectic manifolds

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 19, Issue 2, Page 267-278, 1996., 1994
An almost cosymplectic manifold M is a (2m + 1)‐dimensional oriented Riemannian manifold endowed with a 2‐form Ω of rank 2m, a 1‐form η such that Ωm Λ η ≠ 0 and a vector field Ο satisfying iΟΩ = 0 and η(Ο) = 1. Particular cases were considered in [3] and [6].

Oriented 6‐dimensional submanifolds in the octonians, III

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 18, Issue 1, Page 111-120, 1995., 1993
In this paper, we classify 6‐dimensional almost Hermitian submanifolds in the octonians 𝕆 according to the classification introduced by A. Gray and L. Hervella. We give new examples of quasi‐KĂ€thler and ∗‐Einstein submanifolds in 𝕆. Also, we prove that a 6‐dimensional weakly ∗‐Einstein Hermitian submanifold in 𝕆 is totally geodesic.

Geodesics and magnetic curves in the 4-dim almost KĂ€hler model space F4

open access: yesComplex Manifolds
We study geodesics and magnetic trajectories in the model space F4{{\rm{F}}}^{4}. The space F4{{\rm{F}}}^{4} is isometric to the 4-dim simply connected Riemannian 3-symmetric space due to Kowalski. We describe the solvable Lie group model of F4{{\rm{F}}}^

Complete lift of a structure satisfying FK − (−)K+1F = 0

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 15, Issue 4, Page 803-808, 1992., 1992
The idea of f‐structure manifold on a differentiable manifold was initiated and developed by Yano [1], Ishihara and Yano [2], Goldberg [3] and among others. The horizontal and complete lifts from a differentiable manifold Mn of class C∞ to its cotangent bundles have been studied by Yano and Patterson [4,5].
