Common fixed point theorems and applications [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 20, Issue 1, Page 13-18, 1997., 1997
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the existence of common fixed points for mappings in general quasi-metric spaces. As applications, some common fixed point theorems for mappings in probabilistic quasi-metric spaces are given. The results presented

On Cauchy problems for fuzzy differential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 15, Page 799-805, 2004., 2004
Existence and uniqueness theorems are proved for Cauchy problems of second‐order fuzzy differential equations.

Some fuzzy SP‐topological properties

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 28, Page 1487-1501, 2004., 2004
We introduce r‐fuzzy strongly preopen and r‐fuzzy strongly preclosed sets in fuzzy topological space in view of the definition of šostak (1985). We investigate some properties of them. Moreover, the concepts of fuzzy SP‐continuous, fuzzy SP‐irresolute continuous, fuzzy SP‐irresolute open (closed) mappings, and a fuzzy SP‐irresolute homeomorphism are ...

N‐topo nilpotency in fuzzy neighborhood rings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 13, Page 679-696, 2004., 2004
We introduce the notion of N‐topo nilpotent fuzzy set in a fuzzy neighborhood ring and develop some fundamental results. Here we show that a fuzzy neighborhood ring is locally inversely bounded if and only if for all 0 < α < 1, the α‐level topological rings are locally inversely bounded. This leads us to prove a characterization theorem which says that

Degree of (L, M)-Fuzzy Semi-Precontinuous and (L, M)-Fuzzy Semi-Preirresolute Functions

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2018
The aim of this paper is to present the degree of semi-preopenness, semi-precontinuity, and semi-preirresoluteness for functions in (L, M)-fuzzy pretopology with the help of implication operation and (L, M)-fuzzy semi-preopen operator introduced by ...

T‐neighborhood groups

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 14, Page 703-719, 2004., 2004
We generalize min‐neighborhood groups to arbitrary T‐neighborhood groups, where T is a continuous triangular norm. In particular, we point out that our results accommodate the previous theory on min‐neighborhood groups due to T. M. G. Ahsanullah. We show that every T‐neighborhood group is T‐uniformizable, therefore, T‐completely regular.

Scott convergence and fuzzy Scott topology on L-posets

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
We firstly generalize the fuzzy way-below relation on an L-poset, and consider its continuity by means of this relation. After that, we introduce a kind of stratified L-generalized convergence structure on an L-poset.

Examples of non-strong fuzzy metrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Answering a recent question posed by Gregori et al. [On a class of completable fuzzy metric spaces, Fuzzy Sets and Systems 161 (2010), 2193-2205] we present two examples of non-strong fuzzy metrics (in the sense of George and Veeramani).

Intuitionistic fuzzy proximity spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 49, Page 2617-2628, 2004., 2004
We introduce the concept of the intuitionistic fuzzy proximity as a generalization of fuzzy proximity, and investigate its properties. Also we investigate the relationship among intuitionistic fuzzy proximity and fuzzy proximity, and intuitionistic fuzzy topology.

On completable fuzzy metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we construct a non-completable fuzzy metric space in the sense of George and Veeramani which allows to answer an open question related to continuity on the real parameter t. In addition, the constructed space is not strong (non-Archimedean).
