On smooth fuzzy subspaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 66, Page 3587-3602, 2004., 2004
We introduce a new concept of smooth topological subspaces, which coincides with the usual definition in the case where μ = χY, Y ⊂ X. Also, we introduce some concepts such as q‐nbd systems, continuity, separation axioms, compactness, and connectedness in this sense.

Some Topological and Algebraic Properties of α-level Subsets’ Topology of a Fuzzy Subset

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2018
The theory of fuzzy sets, since its foundation, has advanced in a wide range of means and in many fields. One of the areas to which fuzzy set theory has been applied extensively is mathematical programming.

A Tychonoff theorem in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 70, Page 3829-3837, 2004., 2004
The purpose of this paper is to prove a Tychonoff theorem in the so‐called “intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces.” After giving the fundamental definitions, such as the definitions of intuitionistic fuzzy set, intuitionistic fuzzy topology, intuitionistic fuzzy topological space, fuzzy continuity, fuzzy compactness, and fuzzy dicompactness, we ...

α‐fuzzy compactness in I‐topological spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2003, Issue 41, Page 2609-2617, 2003., 2003
Using a gradation of openness in a (Chang fuzzy) I‐topological space, we introduce degrees of compactness that we call α‐fuzzy compactness (where α belongs to the unit interval), so extending the concept of compactness due to C. L. Chang. We obtain a Baire category theorem for α‐locally compact spaces and construct a one‐point α‐fuzzy compactification ...

Fuzzy super irresolute functions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2003, Issue 42, Page 2689-2700, 2003., 2003
The concept of fuzzy super irresolute function was considered and studied by Šostak's (1985). A comparison between this type and other existing ones is established. Several characterizations, properties, and their effect on some fuzzy topological spaces are studied.

α‐compactness in smooth topological spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2003, Issue 46, Page 2897-2906, 2003., 2003
We introduce the concepts of smooth α‐closure and smooth α‐interior of a fuzzy set which are generalizations of smooth closure and smooth interior of a fuzzy set defined by Demirci (1997) and obtain some of their structural properties.

Fuzzy properties in fuzzy convergence spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 29, Issue 12, Page 737-748, 2002., 2002
Based on the concept of limit of prefilters and residual implication, several notions in fuzzy topology are fuzzyfied in the sense that, for each notion, the degree to which it is fulfilled is considered. We establish therefore theories of degrees of compactness and relative compactness, of closedness, and of continuity.

A note on local bases and convergence in fuzzy metric spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In the context of fuzzy metrics in the sense of George and Veeramani, we study when certain families of open balls centered at a point are local bases at this point. This question is related to p-convergence and s-convergence. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. All

Fuzzy cγ‐open sets and fuzzy cγ‐continuity in fuzzifying topology

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 31, Issue 1, Page 51-63, 2002., 2002
The concepts of fuzzy cγ‐open sets and fuzzy cγ‐continuity are introduced and studied in fuzzifying topology and by making use of these concepts, some decompositions of fuzzy continuity are introduced.
