Function spaces and contractive extensions in Approach Theory: The role of regularity
Two classical results characterizing regularity of a convergence space in terms of continuous extensions of maps on one hand, and in terms of continuity of limits for the continuous convergence on the other, are extended to convergence-approach spaces ...

New Continuity Concepts With Usual, Semi, and Semi‐ω‐Closure Operators
In this paper, we introduce new forms of continuity, namely, weakly θs‐continuity, weakly θsω‐continuity, almost θs‐continuity, and almost θsω‐continuity defined via closure operators. These concepts bridge the gap between classical and weak continuity and provide new insights into their relationships.

Multidimensional $C^0$ transversality [PDF]
In 1994, Sakai introduced the property of $C^0$ transversality for two smooth curves in a two-dimensional manifold. This property was related to various shadowing properties of dynamical systems.

Dendrites, Topological Graphs, and 2-Dominance [PDF]
For each positive ordinal α, the reflexive and transitive binary relation of α-dominance between compacta was first defined in our paper [Mapping properties of co-existentially closed continua, Houston J.

An Elementary Proof of The 2-Dimensional Version of The Brouwer Fixed Point Theorem [PDF]
We give an elementary proof of the 2-dimensional version of the Brouwer fixed point theorem. The proof can be extended to the n-dimensional version naturally.

Structural aspects of the non-uniformly continuous functions and the unbounded functions within C(X) [PDF]
We prove in this paper that if a metric space supports a real continuous function which is not uniformly continuous then, under appropriate mild assumptions, there exists in fact a plethora of such functions, in both topological and algebraical senses ...

Mapping Properties of Co-existentially Closed Continua [PDF]
A continuous surjection between compacta is called co-existential if it is the second of two maps whose composition is a standard ultracopower projection.
