Semi‐precontinuous functions and properties of generalized semi‐preclosed sets in topological spaces
Andrijević (1986) introduced the class of semi‐preopen sets in topological spaces. Since then many authors including Andrijević have studied this class of sets by defining their neighborhoods, separation axioms and functions. The purpose of this paper is to provide the new characterizations of semi‐preopen and semi‐preclosed sets by defining the ...

The concept of a terminal continuum introduced in 1973 by G. R. Gordh Jr., for hereditarily unicoherent continua is extended to arbitrary continua. Mapping properties of these two concepts are investigated. Especially the invariance of terminality under mappings satisfying some special conditions is studied.

On a weak form of weak quasi‐continuity
A weak form of weak quasi‐continuity, which we call subweak quasi‐continuity, is introduced. It is shown that subweak quasi‐continuity is strictly weaker than weak quasi‐continuity. Subweak quasi‐continuity is used to strengthen several results in the literature concerning weak quasi‐continuity.

A note on θ‐generalized closed sets
The purpose of this note is to strengthen several results in the literature concerning the preservation of θ‐generalized closed sets. Also conditions are established under which images and inverse images of arbitrary sets are θ‐generalized closed. In this process several new weak forms of continuous functions and closed functions are developed.

Weak and strong forms of irresolute maps
We consider new weak and stronger forms of irresolute and semi‐closure via the concept sg‐closed sets which we call ap‐irresolute maps, ap‐semi‐closed maps and contra‐irresolute and use it to obtain a characterization of semi‐T1/2 spaces.

On almost precontinuous functions
Nasef and Noiri (1997) introduced and investigated the class of almost precontinuous functions. In this paper, we further investigate some properties of these functions.

A unified theory for weak separation properties
We devise a framework which leads to the formulation of a unified theory of normality (regularity), semi‐normality (semi‐regularity), s‐normality (s‐regularity), feebly‐normality (feebly‐regularity), pre‐normality (pre‐regularity), and others. Certain aspects of theory are given by unified proof.

The aim of this paper is to study the class of θ‐generalized closed sets, which is properly placed between the classes of generalized closed and θ‐closed sets. Furthermore, generalized Λ‐sets [16] are extended to θ‐generalized Λ‐sets and R0‐, T1/2‐ and T1‐spaces are characterized.
