Maximal elements and equilibria of generalized games for 𝒰‐majorized and condensing correspondences

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 22, Issue 1, Page 179-189, 1999., 1999
In this paper, we first give an existence theorem of maximal elements for a new type of preference correspondences which are 𝒰‐majorized. Then some existence theorems for compact (resp., non‐compact) qualitative games and generalized games in which the constraint or preference correspondences are 𝒰‐majorized (resp., Ψ‐condensing) are obtained in ...

New existence of equilibria via connectedness

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 21, Issue 2, Page 315-319, 1998., 1996
The purpose of this paper is to prove a new topological fixed point theorem by using the connectedness property, and next existence of equilibria in generalized games are established as applications.

Selections of set‐valued stochastic processes

open access: yesInternational Journal of Stochastic Analysis, Volume 11, Issue 1, Page 73-78, 1998., 1997
We show that ℱt‐adapted, set‐valued stochastic processes satisfying mild continuity conditions admit, ℱt‐adapted, stochastically continuous selections.

A G‐KKM type theorem and its applications to minimax inequalities on G‐convex spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Stochastic Analysis, Volume 11, Issue 4, Page 493-505, 1998., 1998
A G‐KKM type theorem is obtained on G‐convex spaces. As application, a generalization of Ky Fan′s minimax inequality to non‐compact sets on G‐convex spaces is first obtained. As special cases of this minimax inequality, some new minimax inequalites are obtained. Four fixed point theorems and four equivalent formulations of the second minimax inequality

Common fixed point theorems and applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 20, Issue 1, Page 13-18, 1997., 1995
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the existence of common fixed points for mappings in general quasi‐metric spaces. As applications, some common fixed point theorems for mappings in probabilistic quasi‐metric spaces are given. The results presented in this paper generalize some recent results.

Extensions of best approximation and coincidence theorems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 20, Issue 4, Page 689-698, 1997., 1997
Let X be a Hausdorff compact space, E a topological vector space on which E* separates points, F : X → 2E an upper semicontinuous multifunction with compact acyclic values, and g : X → E a continuous function such that g(X) is convex and g−1(y) is acyclic for each y ∈ g(X).

Continuity properties of solutions of multivalued equations with white noise perturbation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Stochastic Analysis, Volume 10, Issue 3, Page 239-248, 1997., 1996
In the paper, we consider a set‐valued stochastic equation with stochastic perturbation in a Banach space. We prove first the existence theorem and then study continuity properties of solutions.

Some new deterministic and random variational inequalities and their applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Stochastic Analysis, Volume 8, Issue 4, Page 381-391, 1995., 1995
A non‐compact deterministic variational inequality which is used to prove an existence theorem for saddle points in the setting of topological vector spaces and a random variational inequality. The latter result is then applied to obtain the random version of the Fan′s best approximation theorem.

New Operators Inspired by Ideal Topological Spaces and Their Application to Establishing Topology and Compatibility Property

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this article at hand, we employ the sharp operator to set up two novel operators via ideal topological spaces, namely, Δ‐operator and clΔ‐operators, and demonstrate how they interact with other ideas and properties. To prove some invalid relationships and further illustrate our discussion of some of their properties, we provide some elucidative ...

Essential Stability of Pareto Equilibrium for Two‐Person Differential Games

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This paper investigates two‐player differential games governed by ordinary differential equations, whose Pareto equilibria constitute a dense residual subset of the game and for which every point of the Pareto equilibrium is essential. Furthermore, we prove that the Pareto equilibrium of such games possesses an essential connected component.
