Fixed points for generalized (α,ψ)-contractions on generalized metric spaces

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper, we introduce some generalized (α,ψ)-contractive mappings in the setting of generalized metric spaces and, based on the very recent paper (Kirk and Shahzad in Fixed Point Theory Appl.

Coincidence Best Proximity Points of Proximal Berinde G‐Contractions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Recently, a concept of proximal Berinde contractions was introduced and applied to prove the existence of coincidence best proximity points in metric spaces. In this article, we established a new approach to show that these results can be obtained from a fixed point theorem for multivalued (β, L)‐weak contractions.

Fixed point theorems for cyclic contractive mappings via altering distance functions in metric-like spaces

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
In this paper, we introduce two different contractive conditions and prove some new fixed point theorems for cyclic (ψ,ϕ,φ)α-contractive mappings and α-(κ,φ)g-contractive mappings in complete metric-like spaces via altering distance functions.

Fixed point theorems for α-Geraghty contraction type maps in metric spaces

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we introduce a notion of α-Geraghty contraction type maps in the setting of a metric space. We also establish some fixed point theorems for such maps and give an example to illustrate our results. Finally, we discuss the application of our

Solution to Fredholm integral inclusions via (F, δb)-contractions

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
We present sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions of Fredholm integral inclusion equations using new sort of contractions, named as multivalued almost F -contractions and multivalued almost F -contraction pairs under ı-distance, defined in ...

Common fixed points for single-valued and multi-valued maps satisfying a generalized contraction in G-metric spaces

open access: yes, 2012
In this article, we establish some common fixed point theorems for a hybrid pair {g, T} of single valued and multi-valued maps satisfying a generalized contractive condition defined on G-metric spaces. Our results unify, generalize and complement various

α-admissible mappings and related fixed point theorems

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for certain α-admissible contraction mappings. Our results generalize and extend some well-known results on the topic in the literature.

On Hilbert Functions of Points in Projective Space and Structure of Graded Modules

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we investigate the relationship between the Hilbert functions and the associated properties of the graded modules. To attain this, we construct the graded modules from the sets of points in projective space, $\mathbb{P}_k^n$ .

Fixed point results for single and set-valued α-η-ψ-contractive mappings

open access: yes, 2013
Samet et al. (Nonlinear Anal. 75:2154-2165, 2012) introduced α-ψ-contractive mappings and proved some fixed point results for these mappings. More recently Salimi et al. (Fixed Point Theory Appl.

A parallel inertial three-step iteration monotone hybrid algorithm for a finite family of G-nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces endowed with graphs applicable to signal recovery problems

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this paper, we present a new computational approach named the parallel inertial three-step iteration monotone hybrid algorithm (abbreviated as PITMHA), devised for addressing the common fixed point problem of a finite family of G-nonexpansive mappings
