Coincidence Best Proximity Points of Proximal Berinde G‐Contractions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Recently, a concept of proximal Berinde contractions was introduced and applied to prove the existence of coincidence best proximity points in metric spaces. In this article, we established a new approach to show that these results can be obtained from a fixed point theorem for multivalued (β, L)‐weak contractions.

Generalized metrics and Caristi’s theorem

open access: yes, 2013
A ‘generalized metric space’ is a semimetric space which does not satisfy the triangle inequality, but which satisfies a weaker assumption called the quadrilateral inequality.

Fixed point results for contractions involving generalized altering distances in ordered metric spaces

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2011
In this article, we establish coincidence point and common fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying a contractive inequality which involves two generalized altering distance functions in ordered complete metric spaces.

Fixed‐Point Result for Generalized Enriched Contractions With Applications in Cantilever Beam Problem and Homotopy Theory

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this study, we introduce a novel class of mappings called orthogonal extended interpolative enriched Ćirić–Reich–Rus type ψF‐contractions and establish fixed‐point results within the framework of orthogonal complete convex extended b‐metric spaces. The unique fixed point is approximated using a Krasnoselskii‐type iterative method. To demonstrate the

A Nadler-type fixed point theorem in dislocated spaces and applications

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we introduce the concept of a Hausdorff dislocated metric . We initiate the study of fixed point theory for multi-valued mappings on dislocated metric space using the Hausdorff dislocated metric and we prove a generalization of the well ...

Mixed monotone-generalized contractions in partially ordered probabilistic metric spaces

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2011
In this article, a new concept of mixed monotone-generalized contraction in partially ordered probabilistic metric spaces is introduced, and some coupled coincidence and coupled fixed point theorems are proved.

Fixed Point Theorems in Complex Valued Extended b-Metric Spaces

open access: yesMoroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis, 2019
In this article, inspired by the concepts of extended b-metric spaces, we introduce the notion of complex valued extended b-metric spaces. Using this new idea, some fixed point theorems involving rational contractive inequalities are proved.

On some results on interpolative Kannan-type and CRR-type contractions.

open access: yesMoroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis, 2022
Recently, Karapinar, Aydi and De Hierro introduced the notions of interpolative Kannan-type contractions and interpolative CRR-type contractions and proved that they possess a fixed point when the space is complete.

On the ρ‐Interpolative Ćirić–Reich–Rus‐Type Fixed‐Point Theorems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In this study, we aim to introduce some new definitions called ρ‐interpolative Ćirić–Reich–Rus‐type and Kannan‐type fuzzy contractions by using the concepts of ρ‐admissibility (by Dinarvand (2017)) and ς‐comparison function (by Mihet (2008)). We prove some fixed‐point theorems for ρ‐interpolative Ćirić–Reich–Rus‐type and Kannan‐type fuzzy contractions ...

Dislocated metric space to metric spaces with some fixed point theorems

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we notice the notions metric-like space and dislocated metric space are exactly the same. After this historical remark, we discuss the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point of a cyclic mapping in the context of metric-like spaces.
