The 5G Cellular Downlink V2X Implementation Using V2N With Spatial Modulation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Fifth generation (5G) New Radio (NR) technology provides cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) communication. The 5G NR will utilize the existing uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) to furnish vehicle-to-network (V2N) communication via the cellular network ...

Engineering tandem VHHs to target different epitopes to enhance antibody‐dependent cell‐mediated cytotoxicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Tandem VHH targeting distinct EGFR epitopes were engineered into a monovalent bispecific antibody (7D12‐EGA1‐Fc) with more potent ADCC without increasing affinity to EGFR. Structural modeling of 7D12‐EGA1‐Fc showed cross‐linking of separate EGFR domains to enhance CD16a engagement on NK cells.

5G new radio design:why/how to extend/innovate from LTE

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2019
Driven by the 5G visions including “wireless infrastructure to connect the world”, ITU has defined the three main usage scenarios of 5G: eMBB, mMTC, and uRLLC, and the consequent requirements (performance metrics) are defined as well.

Super-Regenerative Receiver Wake-Up Radio Solution for 5G New Radio Communications

open access: yesElectronics, 2023
Wake-up radio is a promising solution to reduce the energy wasted by mobile devices during an idle state. In this paper, we propose a new wake-up radio solution for 5G mobile devices based on a super-regenerative receiver characterized by its low cost and low power consumption and investigate how to build on the orthogonal frequency-division ...

Sustainable Synthesis of Bio‐Based Magnetic and Conductive Wood for Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A wood‐based magnetic and conductive material called Magwood (MW), capable of blocking almost 99.99% of electromagnetic waves (in the X‐band frequency range), is synthesized using a simple, solvent‐free process. MW is lightweight, resists water, and is flame‐retardant, making it a promising alternative for shielding electronics. The rapid proliferation
