Variations of the Mid-IR Aromatic Features Inside and Among Galaxies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We present the results of a systematic study of mid-IR spectra of Galactic regions, Magellanic HII regions, and galaxies of various types (dwarf, spiral, starburst), observed by the satellites ISO and Spitzer. We study the relative variations of the 6.2,

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.

Quenched Staggered Spectrum at Beta=6.0, 6.2 and 6.4

open access: yes, 1993
We give a preliminary report on the hadron spectrum on an ensemble of quenched lattices at $\beta$ values of 6.0, 6.2 and 6.4, using staggered fermions and collaborators Rajan Gupta and Steve Sharpe.

A Danilov-type formula for toric origami manifolds via localization of index [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
We give a direct geometric proof of a Danilov-type formula for toric origami manifolds by using the localization of Riemann-Roch number.Comment: 30 pages, 8 figures : Revision of the introduction. Added references : Typos corrected.

Tracking Motor Progression and Device‐Aided Therapy Eligibility in Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To characterise the progression of motor symptoms and identify eligibility for device‐aided therapies in Parkinson's disease, using both the 5‐2‐1 criteria and a refined clinical definition, while examining differences across genetic subgroups.

The effect of magnesium vacancies on the intraband scattering in MgxB2 as determined by point contact Andreev reflection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In order to introduce structural defects into the band with minimal distortions in the band, bulk samples of varying magnesium content were prepared. Point contact Andreev reflection measurements reveal that the density of states of the band and the ...

Fluid and Neuroimaging Biomarkers in Microgliopathy Colony‐Stimulating Factor‐1 Receptor‐Related Disorders

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective This study aims to identify both fluid and neuroimaging biomarkers for CSF1R‐RD that can inform the optimal timing of treatment administration to maximize therapeutic benefit, while also providing sensitive quantitative measurements to monitor disease progression.
