Bayesian inference for dynamic Q matrices and attribute trajectories in hidden Markov diagnostic classification models

open access: yesBritish Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Hidden Markov diagnostic classification models capture how students' cognitive attributes evolve over time. This paper introduces a Bayesian Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithm for diagnostic classification models that jointly estimates time‐varying Q matrices, latent attributes, item parameters, attribute class proportions and transition ...

Refining the timing of Middle Pleistocene (MIS 12 to MIS 6) ice advances into northern central Europe: sedimentological analysis and single‐grain luminescence dating of glaciotectonic complexes and tunnel‐valley fills

open access: yesBoreas, EarlyView.
We summarize the current state of knowledge on the age of the Middle Pleistocene ice advances into northern central Europe and provide 25 new single‐grain feldspar luminescence ages of Elsterian and Saalian glacigenic sediments to constrain the age of the ice advances and their tentative correlation with marine isotope stages/substages.

Client‐Perpetrated Violence and Intent to Leave Among Child Welfare Workers: A Three‐Wave Cross‐Lagged Prospective Study of Causal Directions and the Role of Work‐Related Worrying

open access: yesChild &Family Social Work, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Client‐perpetrated violence and turnover intentions are widespread problems among child‐welfare workers and are associated with both personal and organizational consequences. To elucidate their longitudinal association, the current study built on the cognitive activation theory of stress (CATS) and investigated (H1) whether client‐perpetrated ...

Co‐Reactivity of Fragrances and Fragrance‐Markers in Patients With Positive Patch Tests to Chinese and Brazilian Propolis

open access: yesContact Dermatitis, EarlyView.
In this study, the patterns of co‐reactivity to the four fragrance markers present in the European baseline series (Myroxylon pereirae resin [balsam of Peru], colophonium, fragrance mixes 1 and 2) and to the fragrances limonene and linalool hydroperoxides in patients allergic to Brazilian propolis were investigated.
