Dissipatively Fueled Unidirectionally Communicating DNA Circuits That Control Biocatalysis
Unidirectionally communicating, out‐of‐equilibrium DNA circuits are used to control enzyme activity. Transient DNAzyme activation generates fuel for temporal trypsin activation. Cyclic fuel‐driven hybridization and exonuclease‐mediated reset enable precise control over lifetimes, which is analyzed using combined experimental and computational ...

A synergistic electron transfer (ET) optimization strategy modulating conformational dynamics, ET pathway, and substrate orientation is proposed for self‐sufficient cytochrome P450s. Guided by this strategy, a P450 variant with improved ET and catalytic efficiency was identified, and the underlying molecular basis was revealed by computational analysis.

Exposing the ‘Olympic family’: a review of progress towards understanding risk factors for sexual victimisation in sport [PDF]
Sport organisations, including the Olympic movement, frequently invoke the concept of ‘family’ to describe their allegedly close and supportive social systems. However, the family metaphor backfires when sexual exploitation in sport is uncovered.

A matrix isolation and computational study of molecular palladium fluorides : does PdF₆ exist? [PDF]
Palladium atoms generated by thermal evaporation and laser ablation were reacted with and trapped in F₂ /Ar, F₂ /Ne, and neat F₂ matrices. The products were characterized by electronic absorption and infrared spectroscopy, together with relativistic ...

Understanding protein sequence–function relationships remains challenging due to poorly defined motifs and limited residue‐level annotations. An annotation‐agnostic framework is introduced that segments protein sequences into “protein words” using attention patterns from protein language models.

Short-Term Water Demand Forecasting from Univariate Time Series of Water Reservoir Stations
This study presents an improved data-centric approach to short-term water demand forecasting using univariate time series from water reservoir levels. The dataset comprises water level recordings from 21 reservoirs in Eastern Thessaloniki collected over ...

GIS as new tools and approach in state planning and monitoring: the experience of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia [PDF]
Malaysian planning methodology has changed over the years as emphasis has shifted from producing plan, which described a state of affairs expected of some future date, to one which acknowledged the continuous and cyclical nature of planning.

This study achieves anisotropic thermal expansion tuning in Nd2(Co1‐xFex)17‐yCry compounds via a magnetoelastic strategy. Variable‐temperature synchrotron X‐ray diffraction reveals that increased Fe content induces switchable lattice responses. Compositional control reduces the volume expansion coefficient αV by 20% (x═0.7) and modulates TC (442–625 K),
