Designing experiments informed by observational studies
The increasing availability of passively observed data has yielded a growing interest in “data fusion” methods, which involve merging data from observational and experimental sources to draw causal conclusions.

Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the system mean lifetime via geometric process model
Operation principle of the engineering systems occupies an important role in the reliability theory. In most of the studies, the reliability function of the system is obtained analytically according to the structure of the system.

On the block structure of PBIB designs
Let denote the set having any treatment θ and its n1 first associates in a PBIB design with m(≥2) associate classes. A theorem on distribution of the elements of this set among the blocks of the block design is proved and results related to certain well known association schemes of three associate classes are obtained.

Double machine learning and design in batch adaptive experiments
We consider an experiment with at least two stages or batches and O(N)O\left(N) subjects per batch. First, we propose a semiparametric treatment effect estimator that efficiently pools information across the batches, and we show that it asymptotically ...

Optimal allocation of sample size for randomization-based inference from 2K factorial designs
Optimizing the allocation of units into treatment groups can help researchers improve the precision of causal estimators and decrease costs when running factorial experiments.
