Algebraic characterization of regular fractions under level permutations [PDF]
In this paper we study the behavior of the fractions of a factorial design under permutations of the factor levels. We focus on the notion of regular fraction and we introduce methods to check whether a given symmetric orthogonal array can or can not be transformed into a regular fraction by means of suitable permutations of the factor levels.

A complementary design theory for doubling
Chen and Cheng [Ann. Statist. 34 (2006) 546--558] discussed the method of doubling for constructing two-level fractional factorial designs. They showed that for $9N/32\le n\le 5N/16$, all minimum aberration designs with $N$ runs and $n$ factors are ...

Unions of Orthogonal Arrays and their aberrations via Hilbert bases [PDF]
We generate all the Orthogonal Arrays (OAs) of a given size n and strength t as the union of a collection of OAs which belong to an inclusion-minimal set of OAs. We derive a formula for computing the (Generalized) Word Length Pattern of a union of OAs that makes use of their polynomial counting functions.

On the aberrations of mixed level Orthogonal Arrays with removed runs [PDF]
Given an Orthogonal Array we analyze the aberrations of the sub-fractions which are obtained by the deletion of some of its points. We provide formulae to compute the Generalized Word-Length Pattern of any sub-fraction. In the case of the deletion of one single point, we provide a simple methodology to find which the best sub-fractions are according to

Factorial experimental designs and generalized linear models [PDF]
This paper deals with experimental designs adapted to a generalized linear model. We introduce a special link function for which the orthogonality of design matrix obtained under Gaussian assumption is preserved.

Optimal designs for third-order interactions in paired comparison experiments [PDF]
It is shown how by not losing information on higher order interactions, optimal paired comparison designs involving alternatives of either full or partial profiles to reduce information overload as frequently encountered in applications can be constructed which enable identification of main effects up to third-order interactions when all attributes ...
