An investigation of mortality with IBM 650
Scandinavian Actuarial Journal, 1961Abstract During the period 1953/2-1956 an investigation of the mortality of standard risks for the years 1948/2-1952 was made in Finland. This investigation resulted in a renewal. of the bases of calculation in 1957 for all Finnish life companies. With certain aggravations these bases were applied also to substandard risks, but there was not a sound ...

STRUCTURES OF CHLOROBIUM CHLOROPHYLLS (650)
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1965The structures of six Chlorobium chlorophylls (650) have been determined. The pheophorbides are derivatives of 2-desvinyl-2-α-hydroxyethyl pyropheophorbide a. Variation of the substituents at C4 (isobutyl, n-propyl, or ethyl) and C5 (ethyl or methyl) accounts for the six different compounds.

The Kingdom of the Deirans, 450–650
2018Chapter 1 considers the formation and organization of the kingdom of the Deirans during the period 450–650 as a context for conversion. It reconstructs the formation of the kingdom, and the social institutions and religious beliefs of its population, from a combination of fifth- to seventh-century mortuary archaeology and early eighth-century histories.
