Polynomial spline collocation methods for second‐order Volterra integrodifferential equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2004, Issue 56, Page 3011-3022, 2004., 2004
We have presented a method for the construction of an approximation to the initial‐value second‐order Volterra integrodifferential equation (VIDE). The polynomial spline collocation methods described here give a superconvergence to the solution of the equation.

Numerical solution of integral equations with finite part integrals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 22, Issue 1, Page 155-160, 1999., 1999
We obtain convergence rates for several algorithms that solve a class of Hadamard singular integral equations using the general theory of approximations for unbounded operators.

The Quasi‐Cubic Trigonometric Cardinal Spline With Local Shape Adjustability

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
The cubic Cardinal spline curve is a fundamental tool in the field of interpolation curve design. However, the cubic Cardinal spline curve cannot adjust its shape locally through the free parameters, and it struggles to accurately represent common engineering curves such as elliptical arcs, circular arcs, and parabolic arcs.

An Analytical Approach to Solve a System of 2D Nonlinear Volterra–Fredholm Integral Equations on Nonrectangular Domains Based on Radial Basis Functions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We aim to introduce a numerical method to solve a system of two‐dimensional nonlinear integral equations of Volterra–Fredholm type with the second kind on nonrectangular domains. The method estimates the solutions of the system by a discrete collocation method based on radial basis functions constructed on scattered points.

Testing reliability and validity of practitioner‐rated parental sensitivity: A novel tool for practice

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 45, Issue 2, Page 234-246, March 2024.
Abstract Improving parental sensitivity is an important objective of interventions to support families. This study examined reliability and validity of parental sensitivity ratings using a novel package of an e‐learning tool and an interactive decision tree provided through a mobile application, called the OK! package.
