On a class of embedded cubature formulae on the simplex

open access: yesACI Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías, 2014
In this paper we investigate a class of embedded cubature formulae on the simplex announced in [1]. Here we recall the class of formulae, we introduce the remainder and we give an estimation of this, we also investigate the convergence.

Development and nationwide implementation of a postdischarge responsive parenting intervention program for very preterm born children: The TOP program

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 42, Issue 3, Page 423-437, May/June 2021., 2021
ABSTRACT A previous randomized controlled trial has suggested the effectiveness of a Dutch postdischarge responsive parenting program for very preterm (VPT) infants, indicating that nationwide implementation was justified. This paper describes the development and nationwide implementation of the intervention, known as the TOP program, which consisted ...

Numerical Investigation, Error Analysis and Application of Joint Quadrature Scheme in Physical Sciences

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2023
In this work, a joint quadrature for numerical solution of the double integral is presented. This method is based on combining two rules of the same precision level to form a higher level of precision.

Enhancing parental reflective functioning through early dyadic interventions: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 42, Issue 1, Page 21-34, January/February 2021., 2021
ABSTRACT Parental reflective functioning (PRF) is an important predictor of infant attachment, and interventions that target parent–infant/toddler dyads who are experiencing significant problems have the potential to improve PRF. A range of dyadic interventions have been developed over the past two decades, some of which explicitly target PRF as part ...

About a dubious proof of a correct result about closed Newton Cotes error formulas

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2023
In this study, we comment about a wrong proof, at least incomplete, of the closed Newton Cotes error formulas for integration in a closed interval [a,b].\left[a,b].

Optimal quadrature formulas for approximate solution of the first kind singular integral equation with Cauchy kernel

open access: yes, 2022
In the present paper in L(m)(−1, 1) space the optimal quadrature formulas with derivatives are constructed for approximate solution of a singular integral equation of the first kind with Cauchy kernel.

Some new inequalities for means of two arguments

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 25, Issue 8, Page 525-532, 2001., 2001
We prove certain new inequalities for special means of two arguments, including the identric, arithmetic, and geometric means.

Numerical methods of computation of singular and hypersingular integrals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 28, Issue 3, Page 127-179, 2001., 2001
In solving numerous problems in mathematics, mechanics, physics, and technology one is faced with necessity of calculating different singular integrals. In analytical form calculation of singular integrals is possible only in unusual cases. Therefore approximate methods of singular integrals calculation are an active developing direction of computing ...

Two-Point Quadrature Rules for Riemann–Stieltjes Integrals with Lp–error estimates

open access: yesMoroccan Journal of Pure and Applied Analysis, 2018
In this work, we construct a new general two-point quadrature rules for the Riemann–Stieltjes integral ∫abf(t) du (t)$\int_a^b {f(t)} \,du\,(t)$, where the integrand f is assumed to be satisfied with the Hölder condition on [a, b] and the integrator u is

Two inequalities for means

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 621-623, 1995., 1994
We prove two new inequalities for the identric mean and a mean related to the arithmetic and geometric mean of two numbers.
