ABSTRACT Aim To evaluate the 3‐year stability of root coverage outcomes following treatment with a coronally advanced flap (CAF) and a volume‐stable, cross‐linked xenogeneic collagen matrix (VCMX), either soaked in recombinant human platelet–derived growth factor‐BB (rhPDGF, test arm) or sterile saline (control arm).

Suppression of Density Fluctuations in a Quantum Degenerate Fermi Gas
We study density profiles of an ideal Fermi gas and observe Pauli suppression of density fluctuations (atom shot noise) for cold clouds deep in the quantum degenerate regime.

Summary Xylem trait studies have enhanced our understanding of how plants strategically adapt their morphological and anatomical features to diverse climates. Despite the importance of the phloem in plant functioning, similar studies of phloem traits are lacking.

Pauli paramagnetism of an ideal Fermi gas
We show how to use trapped ultracold atoms to measure the magnetic susceptibility of a two-component Fermi gas. The method is illustrated for a non-interacting gas of $^6$Li, using the tunability of interactions around a wide Feshbach resonances.

Do Social Trust and Tolerance Affect Board Gender Diversity? An International Evidence
ABSTRACT Research question/Issue The paper investigates how social trust and tolerance affect board gender diversity levels in 67 countries. Research Findings/Insights We find robust evidence that countries in which people display trust toward strangers, people of other countries, and other religions have more gender‐diverse boards.

Abstract Purpose Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a standard orthopaedic procedure for severe knee arthritis, often resulting in high patient satisfaction. However, complications, such as aseptic loosening, remain a significant concern, some thought to be linked to insufficient cement penetration.

Absence of Wigner molecules in one-dimensional few-fermion systems with short-range interactions
We study by means of exact-diagonalization techniques the ground state of a few-fermion system with strong short-range repulsive interactions trapped by a harmonic potential in one spatial dimension. Even when the ground-state density profile displays at

Interaction induced mergence of Dirac points in Non-Abelian optical lattices
We study the properties of an ultracold Fermi gas loaded in a square optical lattice and subjected to an external and classical non-Abelian gauge field. We calculate the energy spectrum of the system and show that the Dirac points in the energy spectrum ...

Stability of the superfluid state in a disordered 1D ultracold fermionic gas [PDF]
We study a 1D Fermi gas with attractive short range-interactions in a disordered potential by the density matrix renormalization group (DMRG) technique. This setting can be implemented experimentally by using cold atom techniques. We identify a region of
