We study an unbounded operator arising naturally after linearizing the system modelling the motion of a rigid body in a viscous incompressible fluid. We show that this operator is $\mathcal{R}$ sectorial in $L^q$ for every $q\in (1,\infty)$, thus it has ...

A two‐step DNA metallization process is presented for the modular assembly of metal sulfide nanoparticles (NPs) on MoS2, with nanoscale control over their separation and ability to concomitantly assemble different kind of NPs. This allowed to tailor the photoinduced electrical response of phototransistors to different wavelengths, according to the ...

Evaluative Conditioning Is Pavlovian Conditioning: Issues of Definition, Measurement, and the Theoretical Importance of Contingency Awareness [PDF]
In her commentary of Field (1999), Hammerl (1999) has drawn attention to several interesting points concerning the issue of contingency awareness in evaluative conditioning. First, she comments on several contentious issues arising from Field's review of

Electric control of magnetic tunnel junctions offers a path to drastically reduce the energy requirements of the device. Electric field control of magnetization can be realized in a multitude of ways. These mechanisms can be integrated into existing spintronic devices to further reduce the operational energy.

A synergistic strategy combining A‐site deficiency and B‐site nickel doping yielded a BCFZYN‐095‐01 nanocomposite air electrode for reversible protonic ceramic cells with superior ORR/OER activities. B‐site deficiency in the perovskite lattice enhances proton conduction, and nickel doping within the bulk facilitates oxygen transport.

Long-Term Multiwavelength Studies of High-Redshift Blazar 0836+710
Aims. The observation of gamma -ray flares from blazar 0836+710 in 2011, following a period of quiescence, offered an opportunity to study correlated activity at different wavelengths for a high-redshift (z=2.218) active galactic nucleus.
