Tau Custodian searches at the LHC [PDF]
The tau lepton can be more composite than naively expected in models of strong electroweak symmetry breaking with tri-bimaximal lepton mixing. New leptonic resonances required by custodial symmetry, the tau custodians, can then be the first signal of ...

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Hospital Readmission After Traumatic Brain Injury Hospitalization in Community‐Dwelling Older Adults
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the risk of hospital readmission after an index hospitalization for TBI in older adults. Methods Using data from the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC) study, we used propensity score matching of individuals with an index TBI‐related hospitalization to individuals with (1) non‐TBI hospitalizations (primary analysis)

DESCRIPTION OF DYSTOCIA IN EWES OF THE KSAR EL BOUKHARI REGION (ALGERIA)
The region of Ksar el Boukhari is an important site for sheep farming in the high plateaus of central Algeria, the main product of which is the lamb. However, the prevalence of neonatal mortality has been scarcely studied.

Waveform control of orientation-dependent ionization of DCl in few-cycle laser fields [PDF]
Strong few-cycle light fields with stable electric field waveforms allow controlling electrons on time scales down to the attosecond domain. We have studied the dissociative ionization of randomly oriented DCl in 5 fs light fields at 720 nm in the ...

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated
