Industry-Reported Financial Relationships Among American Ophthalmology Society Board Members. [PDF]

open access: yesClin Exp Ophthalmol
ABSTRACT Background To assess financial disclosures of American ophthalmology society board members by comparing self‐reported disclosures with industry‐reported payments and examining characteristics linked to larger financial relationships. Methods In this retrospective, cross‐sectional study, we assessed all governance board members from American ...

Cation Substitution in High-Entropy Layered Double Hydroxide Driving D-Band Center Tuning for Oxygen Evolution Reaction. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
The d‐band center position of layered double hydroxide is adjusted via multication insertion in the octahedral site. The optimal position of the d‐band, near the Fermi level, enhances OER performance through optimal OH− adsorption kinetics, resulting in a 55% reduction in overpotential compared to the native catalyst.

Variation of the broad X-ray iron line in MCG-6-30-15 during a flare [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We report results on the broad iron emission line of the Seyfert galaxy MCG-6-30-15, obtained from the second long ASCA observation in 1997. The time-averaged profile of the broad line is very similar to that seen with ASCA in 1994, so confirming the ...

Qatar-2: A K dwarf orbited by a transiting hot Jupiter and a more massive companion in an outer orbit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
We report the discovery and initial characterization of Qatar-2b, a hot Jupiter transiting a V = 13.3 mag K dwarf in a circular orbit with a short period, P_ b = 1.34 days.

Transition properties of potassium atom

open access: yes, 2012
We report here oscillator strengths, transition rates, branching ratios and lifetimes due to allowed transitions in potassium (K) atom. We evaluate electric dipole (E1) amplitudes using an all order relativistic many-body perturbation method.

School Climate and Sleep Duration Among Adolescents at the Intersection of Multiple Social Positions

open access: yesJournal of Adolescence, Volume 98, Issue 3, Page 929-941, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Recent studies have indicated that sleep is fundamental for adolescents' physical and mental health. Although it is known that context influences sleep, the impact of school climate on sleep duration remains understudied. Methods Using a large, diverse, population‐based sample of adolescents attending California high schools (N ...

Thermal Equilibration of 176-Lu via K-Mixing

open access: yes, 2008
In astrophysical environments, the long-lived (\T_1/2 = 37.6 Gy) ground state of 176-Lu can communicate with a short-lived (T_1/2 = 3.664 h) isomeric level through thermal excitations.
