A single‐cell metasurface is designed to multiplex holographic images across both spin and wavelength channels using a single‐phase map. By employing inverse design and automatic differentiation, the metasurface achieves 36 channel multiplexing across the visible to near‐infrared spectrum.

Bithermal fatigue of a nickel-base superalloy single crystal [PDF]
The thermomechanical fatigue behavior of a nickel-base superalloy single crystal was investigated using a bithermal test technique. The bithermal fatigue test was used as a simple alternative to the more complex thermomechanical fatigue test.

Nonlinear Optical Corneal Crosslinking, Mechanical Stiffening, and Corneal Flattening Using Amplified Femtosecond Pulses. [PDF]
Purpose:We have shown that nonlinear optical corneal crosslinking (NLO CXL) and stiffening can be achieved in ex vivo rabbit corneas using an 80-MHz, 760-nm femtosecond (FS) laser, however the required power was beyond the American National Standard ...

Tapered-amplified AR-coated laser diodes for Potassium and Rubidium atomic-physics experiments
We present a system of room-temperature extended-cavity grating-diode lasers (ECDL) for production of light in the range 760-790nm. The extension of the tuning range towards the blue is permitted by the weak feedback in the cavity: the diodes are anti ...

This paper presents a self‐aligned heterojunction gate phototransistor that eliminates the need for high‐precision alignment tools. The device achieves a high responsivity of 2.9 × 105 A W−1 and a specific detectivity of 9.6 × 1013 Jones, comparable to the performance of non‐self‐aligned devices requiring complex fabrication.

Children's acquisition of science terms: simple exposure is insufficient [PDF]
The ability of school children (N = 233) to acquire new scientific vocabulary was examined. Children from two age groups (M = 4;8 and M = 6;5) were introduced to previously unknown words in an educational video.

Exotic Photothermal Response in Ti‐Based MXene Optoelectronic Devices
This work uncovers the photothermal response of Ti‐based MXene devices to laser irradiation under different experimental conditions. Ti2CTx exhibits an asymmetric photothermal response, characterized by three orders of magnitude slower relaxation kinetics than Ti3C2Tx.

Rationalizing Historical Successes of Malaria Control in Africa in Terms of Mosquito Resource Availability Management. [PDF]
Environmental management of mosquito resources is a promising approach with which to control malaria, but it has seen little application in Africa for more than half a century. Here we present a kinetic model of mosquito foraging for aquatic habitats and

This study reveals a novel failure mode in SiO₂/Si₃N₄ stacked capacitors, where dopant diffusion leads to interfacial oxide thinning, reducing dielectric breakdown voltage. Experimental results show that n type capacitors exhibit superior reliability, whereas p type capacitors fail rapidly.
