International Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.Women with ductal carcinoma in situ have an elevated risk of subsequent invasive breast cancer, but how this risk evolves over time is unclear. In this population‐based study of ethnically diverse women diagnosed between 2000 and 2022 in New Zealand, the risk of invasive ipsilateral breast cancer persisted beyond 5 years.

Depression with an onset in childhood and early adolescence has a worse clinical course, is more heritable, and shows a lower genetic correlation with other depression subtypes, than does later‐onset depression.
