A Case of Metastatic Pulmonary Calcification

open access: yesJournal of the Belgian Society of Radiology
Pulmonary calcifications are a frequent phenomenon with a wide range of etiology. They are divided into two categories: metastatic and dystrophic pulmonary calcification, with different underlying pathology and CT features.

Lighting up Macrophage Reprogramming Assists Immunosuppressive Niche Modulation in Primary Tumors and Tumor‐Draining Lymph Nodes of Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops an intelligent NIR‐II‐responsive nanoplatform to combat immunosuppression in breast cancer. It enables real‐time visualization of macrophage activity via “off‐on” fluorescence while simultaneously reprogramming macrophages through the CSF‐1R and CD47‐SIRPα pathways.

Dual‐Substrate Synergistic Photocatalysis: Exogenous Reagent‐Free Co‐Removal of Phenol and Cr(VI) via Electron‐Donor‐Mediated Redox Coupling over Modified Carbon Nitride

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An exogenous reagent‐free dual‐substrate strategy harnesses phenol as an intrinsic electron donor to drive synchronous phenol degradation and Cr(VI) reduction over modified carbon nitride. π–π stacking and hydrogen bonding direct electron transfer to the catalyst, enriching photogenerated electrons and accelerating Cr(VI) reduction 6.4‐fold. This waste‐

Bandgap‐Engineered PtxTey:Ag2Te Composite Quantum Dots Enable Programmable NIR‐II Imaging and Photothermal‐Immune Synergistic Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bandgap‐engineered PtxTey:Ag2Te quantum dot platform enables tunable NIR‐IIb emission for deep‐tissue imaging and mild photothermal therapy. Conjugation with αPD‐L1 confers dual tumor targeting and real‐time monitoring of PD‐L1 dynamics. Mild photothermal modulation induces immune reprogramming, enhancing checkpoint blockade efficacy and achieving ...

A Multimodal Magnetically Driven Soft Robot With Integrated Actuation‐Sensing Based on Photothermal Reprogramming Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reports a thermally safe, photothermally reprogrammable magnetic soft robot with its reprogramming temperature tuned to ∼39.5°C for biocompatibility. It achieves multimodal locomotion (max speed of 1.8 BL/s) and integrates liquid‐metal capacitive sensing to monitor self‐motion and detect environmental changes in simulated gastric environments,

Optimizing Dynamic Mode Decomposition for Video Denoising via Plug-and-Play Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers

open access: yesSignals
Dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) is a powerful tool for separating the background and foreground in videos. This algorithm decomposes a video into dynamic modes, called DMD modes, to facilitate the extraction of the near-zero mode, which represents the ...

Sodium Ascorbate‐Accelerated Gelling Hydrogels With Rapid Self‐Mineralized Capacity for Chronic Wounds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An immunoregulatory hydrogel based on sodium ascorbate (SA)‐accelerated gelation and in situ self‐mineralization is prepared here. Such a hydrogel is constructed by mixing benzaldehyde‐ and cyanoacetate‐functionalized dextran with silver nitrate (AgNO3) and SA, enabling the ultrafast solidification and in situ self‐mineralization of silver ...
