Double-quarkonium production at a fixed-target experiment at the LHC (AFTER@LHC)
We present predictions for double-quarkonium production in the kinematical region relevant for the proposed fixed-target experiment using the LHC beams (dubbed as AFTER@LHC). These include all spin-triplet S-wave charmonium and bottomonium pairs, i.e.

Deformation Behavior of La2O3‐Doped Copper during Equal Channel Angular Pressing
By additions of strengthening elements and/or structure optimization, the mechanical properties of copper can be increased while keeping favorable electric conductivity. By combining addition of La2O3 and processing by equal channel angular pressing, substructure development is achieved, leading to increase in microhardness to more than double the ...

Generalised universality of gauge thresholds in heterotic vacua with and without supersymmetry
We study one-loop quantum corrections to gauge couplings in heterotic vacua with spontaneous supersymmetry breaking. Although in non-supersymmetric constructions these corrections are not protected and are typically model dependent, we show how a ...

This study investigates the impact of Ce and/or Mg on the electrical conductivity (EC) and mechanical properties of AlSi3 cast alloy. It highlights the synergistic effects of Ce and Mg on eutectic Si modification and Mg solute reduction in the Al matrix, resulting in the optimization of EC, strength, and ductility of the alloy.

Direct Consolidation of Copper–Graphene Composite by Rotary Swaging
The applicability of the rotary swaging method for preparation of electroconductive copper–graphene composite by direct consolidation of powders is proven. The consolidated material features advantageous microstructure featuring fine grains and twins, with homogeneous distribution of graphene, primarily along the twin boundaries, which contribute to ...

This study focuses on synthesizing equiatomic AlCuNiSi medium‐entropy alloys using mechanical alloying for advanced industrial applications. Continuous milling leads to grain refinement and the formation of stable BCC/FCC solid‐solution phases, resulting in enhanced mechanical properties. A unique Si‐rich solid‐solution phase is observed, which did not
