Structural analyses of features in cultural landscapes based on historical cadastral maps and GIS [PDF]
A landscape may appear to be ancient and to contain old man-made structures even if this is not the whole truth. Structures are moved, removed, replaced and added over the years. New users introduce new land use and management regimes.

B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

Superfield description of (4+2n)-dimensional SYM theories and their mixtures on magnetized tori
We provide a systematic way of dimensional reduction for (4+2n)-dimensional U(N) supersymmetric Yang–Mills (SYM) theories (n=0,1,2,3) and their mixtures compactified on two-dimensional tori with background magnetic fluxes, which preserve a partial N=1 ...

Dynamical origin of the electroweak scale and the 125 GeV scalar
We consider a fully dynamical origin for the masses of weak gauge bosons and heavy quarks of the Standard Model. Electroweak symmetry breaking and the gauge boson masses arise from new strong dynamics, which leads to the appearance of a composite scalar ...

Factors affecting sperm recovery rates and survival after centrifugation of equine semen [PDF]
Conventional centrifugation protocols result in important sperm losses during removal of the supernatant. In this study, the effect of centrifugation force (400 or 900 × g), duration (5 or 10 min), and column height (20 or 40 mL; Experiment 1); sperm ...
