White matter microstructure and longitudinal relaxation time anisotropy in human brain at 3 and 7 T
White matter (WM) with high structural anisotropy T1 shows angular dependency on B0. At 3T, a T1 peak at 54° and flat baseline across 0° and 90° are observed in WM [Panel A, T1 as a function of fibre‐to‐filed angle (q)]. At 7T, the T1 peak is centred at 40°.

Optimal deployment of indoor wireless local area networks
Abstract We present a two‐phase methodology to address the problem of optimally deploying indoor wireless local area networks. In the first phase, we use Helmholtz's equation to simulate electromagnetic fields in a typical environment such as an office floor.

Nickel cobalt sulfide (NiCo2S4) has attracted considerable interest as electrode material for supercapacitors owing to its distinct physical and chemical characteristics. However, the practical applications of pristine NiCo2S4 have been limited by issues such as small specific surface area, agglomeration, and volume changes during cycling, leading to ...

Improving a constructive heuristic for the general routing problem
Abstract The general routing problem (GRP) is a fundamental 𝒩𝒫‐hard vehicle routing problem, first defined by Orloff in 1974. It contains as special cases the Chinese postman problem, the rural postman problem, the graphical TSP, and the Steiner TSP. We examine in detail a known constructive heuristic for the GRP, due to Christofides and others.

For the series active filter (SAF), a combined controller and observer scheme is proposed. Two controllers—state feedback (SFB) and linear quadratic regulator (LQR)—along with state observers, including the Luenberger observer (LO), proportional–integral observer (PIO), and unknown input observer (UIO), have been designed.
