Subcell‐Resolved EQE Method Using Reverse Voltage Biasing for Multijunction Photovoltaics With Overlapping Subcell Absorptance

open access: yesProgress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, EarlyView.
We present a three‐step method to measure the subcell external quantum efficiency (EQE) in a multijunction photovoltaic (PV) device with overlapping subcell absorptance: (1) apply light bias to generate current mismatch, (2) identify individual subcell breakdowns from I–V characteristics measured into reverse bias, and (3) measure subcell EQE curves ...

A Gap in Reporting: Student Demographic Information in Academic Universal Screening Studies

open access: yesPsychology in the Schools, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Universal screening is an essential practice in any multi‐tiered system of support, but without understanding the demographic makeup of students in studies that inform current practices, the effectiveness in which instruments and screening approaches work best for students of demographically diverse backgrounds cannot be assessed.

Plant biodiversity, vegetation structure and provisioning services in rainforest, traditional and industrial oil palm cultivation systems in Liberia, West Africa

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, EarlyView.
Oil palm is native to the west African forest, where industrial production is expanding. We assessed differences in plant biodiversity, vegetation structure and provisioning services across 54 forest, community agriculture and oil palm plots in Sinoe County, Liberia.

Photoluminescence from Defects in Be‐Doped GaN

open access: yesphysica status solidi (b), EarlyView.
A blue photoluminescence band (labeled BLBe) with a maximum at 2.6 eV and a lifetime of 0.8 μs is observed in Be‐doped GaN samples. It is preliminarily attributed to electron transitions via the 0/+ thermodynamic transition level of the BeGa defect located at 0.15±0.05 eV above the valence band.
