Some fixed point theorems of rational type contraction in b-metric spaces
In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems satisfying contractive type mapping in the setting of b-metric spaces. The presented theorem is an extension the results of M. Sarwar and M. U.

Polynomial stability of the wave equation with distributed delay term on the dynamical control
Using the frequency domain approach, we prove the rational stability for a wave equation with distributed delay on the dynamical control, after establishing the strong stability and the lack of uniform stability.

On the stability of a strongly stabilizing control for degenerate systems in Hilbert spaces
In this article, we explain how a recent Lyapunov theorem on stability plays a role in the study of the strong stabilizability problem in Hilbert spaces.

Efficient criteria for the stabilization of planar linear systems by hybrid feedback controls
We suggest some criteria for the stabilization of planar linear systems via linear hybrid feedback controls. The results are formulated in terms of the input matrices. For instance, this enables us to work out an algorithm which is directly suitable for a computer realization. At the same time, this algorithm helps to check easily if a given linear 2 ×

Dynamic boundary controls of a rotating body‐beam system with time‐varying angular velocity
This paper deals with feedback stabilization of a flexible beam clamped at a rigid body and free at the other end. We assume that there is no damping and the rigid body rotates with a nonconstant angular velocity. To stabilize this system, we propose a feedback law which consists of a control torque applied on the rigid body and either a dynamic ...

We extend the notion of dissipative dynamical systems to formalize the concept of the nonlinear analog of strict positive realness and strict bounded realness. In particular, using exponentially weighted system storage functions with appropriate exponentially weighted supply rates, we introduce the concept of exponential dissipativity.

Nonsmooth optimal regulation and discontinuous stabilization
For affine control systems, we study the relationship between an optimal regulation problem on the infinite horizon and stabilizability. We are interested in the case the value function of the optimal regulation problem is not smooth and feedback laws involved in stabilizability may be discontinuous.

Coexistence for a kind of stochastic three-species competitive models
The coexistence of species sustains the ecological balance in nature. This paper focuses on sufficient conditions for the coexistence of a three-species stochastic competitive model, where the model has non-linear diffusion parts.
