Ascidians collected during the Spanish Antarctic expedition CIEMAR 99/00 in the Bransfield and Gerlache Straits [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Natural History, 2007
During the Spanish expedition CIEMAR 99/00, on board the BIO‐Hesperides, 30 species of ascidians (distributed in 13 genera and eight families) were collected using a rock dredge in the Bransfield and Gerlache straits. Most of them were already known, but one species, Tetrazona ciemari sp. nov., is new for science.

Luftkvalitetsmätningar i ett antal tätorter i sydöstra Sverige tre vintersäsonger -98/99, 99/00 & 00/01

open access: yes, 2003

Significance of variable viscosity for time-dependent flow of hybrid nanofluids due to spinning surface

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2023
This study focuses on the physical characteristics of H2O, a homogenous combination of silver (Ag) and copper oxide (CuO), with Brownian motion and thermophoresis effects on temperature distribution.

Intensity warping for multisite MRI harmonization

open access: yesNeuroImage, 2020
In multisite neuroimaging studies there is often unwanted technical variation across scanners and sites. These “scanner effects” can hinder detection of biological features of interest, produce inconsistent results, and lead to spurious associations.

On the role of bioconvection and activation energy for time dependent nanofluid slip transpiration due to extending domain in the presence of electric and magnetic fields

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2022
A mathematical analysis for slip effects on MHD nanofluid in the presence of electromagnetic field and gyrotactic microorganisms is considered. The influence of activation energy and thermal radiation are also discussed.

Novel anlytical solution to the damped Kawahara equation and its application for modeling the dissipative nonlinear structures in a fluid medium

open access: yesJournal of Ocean Engineering and Science, 2022
A novel approximate analytical solution to the linear damped Kawahara equation using a suitable hypothesis is reported for the first time. Based on the exact solutions (such as solitary waves, cnoidal waves, etc.) of the undamped Kawahara equation, the ...

Bird posture recognition based on target keypoints estimation in dual-task convolutional neural networks

open access: yesEcological Indicators, 2022
Bird behavior reflects its healthy and the habitat condition in which the bird’s posture recognition is the basis of bird behavior research. This paper proposes an end-to-end bird posture recognition based on target keypoints estimation in the dual-task ...

Machine learning for multiphase flowrate estimation with time series sensing data

open access: yesMeasurement: Sensors, 2020
In this paper, we investigate the prediction of multiphase flowrate based on multi-modal time series sensing data by using machine learning. The time series differential pressure data generated from Venturi tube, and pressure, temperature data are ...

CerebNet: A fast and reliable deep-learning pipeline for detailed cerebellum sub-segmentation

open access: yesNeuroImage, 2022
Quantifying the volume of the cerebellum and its lobes is of profound interest in various neurodegenerative and acquired diseases. Especially for the most common spinocerebellar ataxias (SCA), for which the first antisense oligonculeotide-base gene ...
