Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Lepton Mixing Patterns from a Scan of Finite Discrete Groups
The recent discovery of a non-zero value of the mixing angle theta_13 has ruled out tri-bimaximal mixing as the correct lepton mixing pattern generated by some discrete flavor symmetry (barring large next-to-leading order corrections in concrete models).

Neutralino-hadron scattering in the NMSSM [PDF]
We provide a scan of the parameter space for neutralino-hadron scattering in the next-to-minimal supersymmetric standard model using an updated value for the strange quark sigma commutator.

ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.

Coordinates and 2MASS and OGLE identifications for all stars in Arp's 1965 finding chart for Baade's Window [PDF]
Aims: We seek to provide 2MASS and OGLE identifications and coordinates for all stars in the finding chart published by Arp\,(1965). This chart covers the low extinction area around NGC 6522, also known as Baade's window, at coordinates (l,b)=(1.02,-3.92)

ABSTRACT Purpose Pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumors often recur despite multimodality therapy. Although re‐irradiation (re‐RT) has historically been limited by concerns for severe late toxicities, modern techniques have renewed interest in this approach. Proton therapy provides dosimetric advantages that may enable curative re‐treatment with
