Protracted Fate Acquisition and Epigenetic De‐Aging During Induced Neural Stem Cell Conversion of Human Blood Cells

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
In contrast to rapid epigenetic de‐aging during induced pluripotent stem cell generation, direct conversion of blood cells into neural stem cells is associated with largely protracted epigenetic de‐aging.
