Nodal auxiliary a posteriori error estimates
We introduce and explain key relations between a posteriori error estimates and subspace correction methods viewed as preconditioners for problems in infinite dimensional Hilbert spaces. We set the stage using the Finite Element Exterior Calculus and Nodal Auxiliary Space Preconditioning.

A Posteriori Error Estimates for Axisymmetric and Nonlinear Problems
Suppose \(x_1\), \(x_2\), \(x_3\) denote the cylidrical coordinates in \(\mathbb{R}^3\). The authors first study the axisymmetric solution of \[ -\sum^3_{i=1} {\partial\over\partial x_i} \Biggl(A_i{\partial U\over\partial x_i}\Biggr)= F, \] in a rotation body with mixed Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions in order to establish a posteriori ...

Fast recovery algorithm based on Boltzmann machine and MMSE criterion
Fully connected Boltzmann machine models can be used to provide a comprehensive description of statistical dependencies between sparse coefficients but with high time complexity. To improve the speed and quality of the Boltzmann machine-Bayesian matching

A posteriori error estimates for the Richards equation
The Richards equation is commonly used to model the flow of water and air through soil, and it serves as a gateway equation for multiphase flows through porous media. It is a nonlinear advection–reaction–diffusion equation that exhibits both parabolic–hyperbolic and parabolic–elliptic kind of degeneracies. In this study, we provide

This paper presents an a posteriori error analysis for a coupled continuum pipe-flow/Darcy model in Karst aquifers. We consider a unified anisotropic finite element discretization (i.e. elements with very large aspect ratio).

Meliorating a priori stochastic model of Kalman filer (KF) is always challenging. To address this challenge, this paper simultaneously estimates and corrects the variance components for all of the process noise and measurement matrix (Q & R) by a ...
