A new mixed discontinuous Galerkin method for the electrostatic field
We introduce and analyze a new mixed discontinuous Galerkin method for approximation of an electric field. We carry out its error analysis and prove an error estimate that is optimal in the mesh size.

Numerical method for solving an initial-boundary value problem for a multidimensional loaded parabolic equation of a general form with conditions of the third kind [PDF]
An initial-boundary value problem is studied for a multidimensional loaded parabolic equation of general form with boundary conditions of the third kind. For a numerical solution, a locally one-dimensional difference scheme by A.A.Samarskii with order of

A local regularity for the complex Monge-Amp\`ere equation [PDF]
We prove a local regularity (and a corresponding a priori estmate) for plurisubharmonic solutions of the nondegenerate complex Monge-Amp\'ere equation assuming that their $W^{2,p}$-norm is under control for some $p>n(n-1)$. This condition is optimal.

In this article, we investigate an initial and boundary value problem for a class of compressible non-Newtonian fluids, provided the initial energy is small and the initial density containing the vacuum state is allowed.

Strong solutions to a nonlinear stochastic Maxwell equation with a retarded material law [PDF]
We study the Cauchy problem for a semilinear stochastic Maxwell equation with Kerr-type nonlinearity and a retarded material law. We show existence and uniqueness of strong solutions using a refined Faedo-Galerkin method and spectral multiplier theorems ...

A priori SNR estimation and noise estimation for speech enhancement [PDF]
A priori signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) estimation and noise estimation are important for speech enhancement. In this paper, a novel modified decision-directed (DD) a priori SNR estimation approach based on single-frequency entropy, named DDBSE, is proposed.

Inference of entropies of discrete random variables with unknown cardinalities [PDF]
We examine the recently introduced NSB estimator of entropies of severely undersampled discrete variables and devise a procedure for calculating the involved integrals.

On subordination conditions for systems of minimal di erential operators
In this paper, we provide a review of results on apriori estimates for systems of minimal differential operators in the scale of spaces \(L^p(\Omega),\) where \(p\in[1,\infty].\) We present results on the characterization of elliptic and \(l ...
