This paper presents an a priori error analysis of the hp-version of the boundary element method for the electric field integral equation on a piecewise plane (open or closed) Lipschitz surface. We use H(div)-conforming discretisations with Raviart-Thomas

Regularity and mass conservation for discrete coagulation-fragmentation equations with diffusion [PDF]
We present a new a-priori estimate for discrete coagulation-fragmentation systems with size-dependent diffusion within a bounded, regular domain confined by homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions.

A Pointwise a-priori Estimate for the d-bar Neumann Problem on Weakly Pseudoconvex Domains
We introduce a new integral representation formula in the d-bar Neumann Theory on weakly pseudoconvex domains which satisfies certain estimates analogous to the basic L^2 estimate.

Probabilistic square functions and a priori estimates [PDF]
We obtain a priori estimates for Riesz transforms and their variants, that is, estimates with bounds independent of the dimension of the space and/or the nature of the boundary. The key to our results is to give probabilistic definitions which do not depend on the geometry of the situation for the transformations in question.

Two-grid virtual element discretization of quasilinear elliptic problem
In this paper a two grid algorithm for quasilinear elliptic problem based on virtual element method (VEM) discretization is proposed. With this new algorithm the solution of a quasilinear elliptic problem on a fine grid is reduced to the solution of a ...

A-priori estimates of the hp-adaptive BEM in elastic scattering of acoustic waves
In the paper some a-priori hp-adaptive error estimates, applied to the problem of acoustic wave scattering on an elastic body in the 2D space, solved by the Boundary Element Method, are presented.

Simplified a priori estimate for the time periodic Burgers’ equation; pp. 34–41 [PDF]
We present here a version of the existence and uniqueness result of time periodic solutions to the viscous Burgersâ equation with irregular forcing terms (with Sobolev regularity â1 in space).

ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Interior Hessian estimates for Sigma-2 equations in dimension three
We prove a priori interior C2 estimate for \sigma_2 = f in R3, which generalizes Warren-Yuan's result.Comment: 21 ...

“A priori” shapley data value estimation
Abstract Distributed machine learning approaches are required when training data cannot be collected in a central location, due to storage, transmission or privacy/security constraints. An important task in any distributed machine learning context, and Federated Learning is no exception, is data value estimation or credit allocation, where ...
