Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Traffic Improvement in Manhattan Road Networks With the Use of Parallel Hybrid Biobjective Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesIEEE Access
There are many reasons for traffic congestions such as the “stop-and-go wave effect”, periodic increase in intensity of vehicle and pedestrian traffic (“rush hours”), frequent maneuvering, uncontrolled pedestrians’ movement on road crossings and other ...

Road traffic noise from a stopping line

open access: yesArchives of Acoustics, 2002
A simple method, requiring simultaneous noise measurements at three positions is presented for the prediction of the equivalent continuous sound level, LAeqT, of road traffic noise generated at the stopping line. Geometrical spreading of noise is affected by reflection from the hard ground surface.

TRAFFIC ORGANISATION PROBLEMS AT NON-SIGNALISED INTERSECTIONS – CASE STUDIES OF VISIBILITY DISTANCE AND ‘GIVE WAY’ AND ‘STOP’ ROAD SIGNS [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Journal of Silesian University of Technology. Series Transport, 2019
The paper analyses traffic organisation at non-signalised intersections. In such locations, the use of correct road signs is crucial. Traffic engineers should consider a balance between traffic fluency and safety.
